Natalie Portman 2011 Upcoming Films

Everyone by now must know that Natalie Portman is expecting and recently engaged to Benjamin Millepied, her choreographer and dance partner in “Black Swan.” So, most likely she won’t be working for awhile as she adjusts to being a new wife and a mother. But don’t fret fellow Natalie Portman fans.

Not only is the Romantic Comedy, “No Strings Attached” out in theaters but also, “The Other Woman,” is also out in theaters and ON DEMAND! It’s not one of her best films but nonetheless worth a watch. This film was done in 2009, but just recently released.

More over, “Your Highness” was just completed in post-production and due in theaters any day now. Still in post-production are: “Thor” and “Cloud Atlas.” So you see, while we wait for the actress to get back to work there’s plenty of things that are still new and that we can watch and there’s and even more that’s not even out yet.

Christian Slater Dream Co-Star Is Winona Ryder

Christian Slater was interviewed recently about his new show on Fox, it’s an off beat comedy called, “Breaking In.” He plays the bizarre boss for a security company. They still haven’t casted someone to play his ex wife. When they asked him whom he would like to work with he admitted that Winona Ryder would be it. His exact words were: “My fantasy, of course, would be Winona Ryder, if she’s around.”

I sure hope she makes herself available; I would absolutely love to see them work together again. It’s been quite awhile since “Heathers,” back in the late 80’s. They were just amazing together. Till this day one of my favorite Black Comedies of all times. They were great together back then and I’m sure they would rock working together now!

Winona Ryder Is A Technophobe

Recently, Winona Ryder made an appearance in The Jimmy Fallon, Late Night Show. She looked fabulous and admitted that she was a technophobe. She says, “We’re a button away from joining Al-Qaeda!” She’s too funny, pretty and eccentric. Happy to see she’s making quite the come back. She’s been one of my favorite actresses since I was a little girl when I first saw her in “BeetleJuice”, played by Michael Keaton and directed by Tim Burton.

J-Lo Big Comeback Is A Miss

Jennifer Lopez as one of American Idol judges was suppose to be her big comeback, but since Steven Tyler joined the staff as one of the judges all the attention has been going to him instead of her. Now we all know that J-Lo loves to be center of attention, but sources have stated that she asked the producers to focus more cameras on her during the show.

The show has had a decline in viewers for the past several seasons and this may or may not be their last season. Good thing that last week’s viewing went up several percent. Steven maybe the one saving this show after all, since he is a great asset to the show. Sorry Jennifer, your comeback wasn’t what you expected it to be.

New Superman

Many are probably tired of seeing the same old character being “reboot” in many films over the years. There are the few that are actual fans and are excited about the new Superman movie. It is a hard role to play, since many compare any actor to the late Christopher Reeve.

Meet your new Superman, his name is Henry Cavill. He is a British actor and has done quite a few productions. He did miss out on several major roles such as playing Edward Cullen from the Twilight Saga; James Bond, but was too young for the part; and Batman, which Christian Bale got the part. Those are to name a few.

I can picture him as Superman since he has lots of similar features as the character. Henry definitely has those gorgeous strong man features that most women look for in a man.

Funny Man Andy Samberg

Andy Samberg is one of the cutest actors in comedy right now.We’ve decided to end the work week with cutie Andy Samberg. Andy shot to stardom with the Gen-Y crowd in 2005 when he was added to the cast of Saturday Night Live. Sorry ladies he is taken but there’s no ring on his finger just yet. With his kissable lips and perfect curly hair, he’s undeniably a hunk.

It’s been reported Samberg will be headlining a fundraiser for Emanuel on Friday where he is running for mayor of chicago. Who can forget the hilarious impersonations of Rahm on the “SNL” show, but it seems when asked by reporters how he felt about the jokes he laughed it off and said he actually enjoyed them. What a good sport!
