It may be to watch some TV or work on a craft or hobby you may have. There’s nothing wrong with needing some alone time so don’t take it personally.

Learn to read one another! Pay attention to body language and facial expressions so you can pick up on when your other half is in need of some space or looking for some loving and affection. When you see they look stressed or their mind seems some where else give them some space to work it out. By allowing them the opportunity to get their mind right it will put them in a better mindset to come back to you once they’re in a better mood. Don’t push or pressure them to talk to you about it, once they’re ready you’ll know.
