Real Housewives of New Jersey Season Premiere

As Bravo Network put it in the synopsis of The Real Housewives of New Jersey season premiere, Episode 1: Thicker Than Water: “Danielle gets back in the dating game with a man she met online [wealthymen.com],” but it doesn’t end at that.  The real drama was that the wealthymen.com stud, who calls himself Gucci Model, stood Danielle up on their first date.  For those who are unfamiliar with Wealthy Men, it is a dating website specifically for rich guys (6+ figures), who are seeking potential daters.

Still, the season premiere of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, which aired May 12, 2009 on Bravo Network, closed with Danielle yelling curse words at her date, now known as Gucci Model, in a voice message.  Although it was truly dramatic, and fueled the audience, it was really messed up. 

Below is the cold message that Gucci Model sent Ariano about standing up Danielle in the premiere of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

“4:15:43 PM Will Edmondson: You know, I felt a little embarrassed about making my screenname “GuCcIMoDeL” on Wealthy Men, but now that it’s out there I just want to say, yes, Internet. “Gucci Model” is me, and I am him.
4:16:13 PM Tara Ariano: Dude, why’d you stand up Danielle? Was it actually because you walked in, realized she was too hot for you, and had to slink off all intimidated?
4:16:44 PM Will Edmondson: Yes. That and the “why so serious” Joker face etched perminently in her leathery, leathery grill.
4:16:55 PM Will Edmondson: But anyway, WELCOME TO JERSEY, TARA! doesn’t it feel good?
4:17:08 PM Tara Ariano: It feels kind of icky.
4:17:23 PM Will Edmondson: You’ll get used to the smell.”
